WHAT DOES "FIREBASE27" MEAN?
A fire support base (FSB or firebase) is an encampment designed to provide communication, supply and fire support to infantry operating in areas beyond the normal range of their main base camp.
We want to act in the same sense. To be flexable and helpful. We utilize our vocation and assist those outside ourselves in any fruitful way. A firebase has a designation number, and ours is 27. It comes from Psalms chapter 27 a Psalm of David.
Firebase27 is not only a visual communications company, but a ministry. We are not playing war, but waging it with far more powerful weapons than those that kill.
THE PROCESS
ANALYSIS
The process begins getting to know you, your company and project specifications.(goals, audience, budget, time frame, dimension, surface, information and functionality)
SENDING FILES
You can send files via email or on a disk. When sending text you can send it as a Microsoft Word document or a plain text email. Please proofread to check that all text is correct and contains all the information you want. We will do proofing as well, however this will speed up the process. When sending images make sure they are 300 dpi for print and at least 72 dpi for web. If the files are 20 mb or more please compress them.
DEVELOPMENT
Taking the project analysis, we then do further research and develop an outline of what we have, and will need to successfully complete your project. We brainstorm, conceptualize and develop comprehensives to produce the project closest to a final product. We send bids to printers and/or companies that can produce your project to find the best production cost.
PROOFING
Proofs will be sent via email and a printed version if needed. Ideally one proof is sent for proofreading, and after corrections and revisions have been made, one more proof is sent for final approval. It is up to you on how many proofing stages you want but if a project is prolonged due to "changes" and not "corrections" additional cost will be added.
PRINTING
We know a variety of printers who specialize in printing from single to full color and on a many different surfaces. We send out bids to the printers we feel can do the best job meeting the project's specifications. We do not charge for the time spent in communication with the printer.
PROJECT DELIVERY
We can deliver your project, you can pick it up from the printer or it can be shipped. We will provide free delivery in the Midland-Odessa (Texas) area.
